ABOUT THE BLOG

The Story

Adhithya kurup, a name which has always come on 🔝. I am a 3d year BSc (Honours) environmental biology student at York university. I am passionate about sustainability, ecological restoration, technical and scientific writing which includes scientific communication (FOR THE PEOPLE) and other collaborative work. I am a Science Student Ambassador at York University.

I am also honoured to be part of the Bazely-Vicari lab ( Dr. Dawn Bazely and Dr. Mark Vicari) from September 2021. We are working on to identify fungal endophytes in fescue grass species ~ a research by PHD student Jenna Leblanc. During my high school, I have served as a helpful role to those seeking inspiration, help, or advice. In 2021, I finally decided to own that role and be intentional about it. I started writing about my passions, my thoughts, and curious wonderings about our society, ecology, sustainable lifestyles and about my research.

I founded HOW ABOUT MY SURROUNDING? with a mission to give others a taste of what goes on in my mind, and it has been a wild success ever since.
